  Color Pencil II - Advanced AM session

Learn, practice and refine your skills using colored pencil.
Watercolor II
Developing Skills
AM session

Realistic portrayal of botanical subjects using a variety of painting techniques. Our goal is detail, texture and accurate color.
Watercolor III Advanced AM session

Develop your own style by working more independently on individual projects.

In this class, beginners thru advanced students work together, and learn at their own pace. The emphasis is on individual attention.
    Colored Pencil I

Learn color application, color theory and a variety of techniques to add color dimension to your work.
     
AFTERNOON Session:
    Drawing I Fundamentals
PM session

Learn the fundamental skills necessary for accurate botanical drawing: form, measuring, foreshortening, perspective.
Draw or Paint- Complex Flowers PM session (Begins 5/8)
Instructor: Corinne Lapin-Cohen
Learn to draw or paint the more complex flowers such as Roses and Peonies

Instructors:
Corinne Lapin-Cohen is an internationally recognized botanical artist and coordinator of the Botanical Art Program at Lasdon. She has taught at the New York Botanical Garden and Lehman College and specializes in watercolor, silverpoint and graphite.

Laura Gould is a botanical artist and graphic designer who specializes in colored pencil.

Directions:
Take I-684 to exit 6, and head west on Route 35, the park entrance is 3 miles ahead on the left. Or, take the Taconic State Parkway to Route 202 exit and head east on Route 202. Follow to Route 35, and turn left, the park is 3 miles ahead on the right.
