Botanical Art

I have spent over 20 years painting botanical subjects. 

As a botanical artist, my intention is to portray the beauty of a plant at a particular moment in its life cycle. Botanical art is a marriage of Art and Science, so the painting must combine beauty and accuracy, with the skill of the artist. These works are all watercolor on paper or vellum calfskin.
